Alexander Lessons

The Alexander Technique is taught in one-to-one lessons through hands-on guidance and spoken explanations. At the beginning, all the emphasis is on simple movements and everyday activities such as sitting, standing, walking and bending down.

Through experience and observation, you gain increased awareness, enabling you to recognize and change long-standing habits and to function more efficiently. You discover and learn how to use the body more efficiently through an understanding of how coordination works.

In time, your new understanding and skill can be applied to more complex and demanding activities. You can bring awareness and poise to anything you do.
